Join the CASH Coalition and invited guests for a discussion on empowering smallholder livelihoods through climate action.
This breakfast meeting will focus on identifying incentives that enable smallholder agroforestry projects to scale through access to carbon markets. CASH is developing a portfolio of smallholder-based carbon projects and has developed a sophisticated financial model to understand key variables and tipping points that impact the viability of smallholder agroforestry projects.
Drawing on insights from our agroforestry model, on-the-ground perspectives accrued through decades of support for smallholder livelihoods, and insights from financiers and project developers, we look forward to a rich discussion and making new connections.
Discussion participants will include: Jack Kimani (Co-Founder, CAP-A), Lakshmi Viswanathan (Carbon and Climate Finance Lead, CASH Coalition), John Mundy (Director of Global Partnerships, One Acre Fund), Emma van de Ven (Co-Founder, Acorn Rabobank), and Ricardo Bayon (Co-Founder, Encourage Capital).
The CASH Coalition is the foremost collaboration of social enterprises working to make regenerative agriculture and climate action profitable for smallholder farmers in the Global South.
